Strands

"An appreciation for taking the online scenic route"

in strands of cathode ray days
in strands of sunblown eyelashes
my mind expands and spews
rainbow shapes and do-si-do hues

to map out memories and daisy-chain routes

dive deep in the algae bloom
let the current push and flow
im a jellyfish balloon
my petri-dish brain splatters and grows

in strands i will travel across a make-believe land
in hopes to return with lockets trinkets and keys

to try and create my dream in reality
